While the flames look stronger, the proof of the pudding will be in the cooking, which I will try tonight. Thank you for the info. Sure beats trying to replace parts that don't need replacement. Both put together, I followed the above procedure (the mfr svc tech called it the 'regulator test'). My grill was not heating up fully - so I had to repeat the process over 8 times before I was able to get the grill to a full throttle.
