DCS Grill Parts
DCS — Dynamic Cooking Systems has been manufacturing the highest quality gas BBQ grills for over twenty years! Fully featured grills that offer professional performance and amazing flavor. Have you owned a barbeque where your were always trying to find the hot spots? DCS grills allow you to control the heat of your grill as precisely as any oven or broiler. The ceramic radiant design conducts heat evenly and radiates to create a searing surface when turned to the higher position. Without infrared burners, DCS gas grills can get hot enough to sear a steak perfectly locking in moisture and flavor. Larger models come standard with a dedicated smoker burner for low heat smoking for several hours if necessary.
Precision ported, U-shaped 304 stainless steel gas burners are rated at 25,000 btu’s. Ceramic rod radiants conduct heat for even distribution and searing temperatures. Halogen lighting, heavy-duty infrared rotisserie, dedicated smoker and convex/concave reversible grates come together to maintain flavor and function with the patented grease management system. For many years DCS has been one of the best gas barbecue grills money can buy.
Like many American made gas grills, DCS is made with 18 gauge 304 stainless steel. Stainless steel with the designation of 304 is generally warranted for the lifetime of the purchaser, even outdoors. However, many of us — and I am certainly guilty — spend a lot of money on a well made product and then fail to properly maintain the product once a few years have passed.
If cleaned a few times a year, a DCS grill will provide reliable grilling for decades and I personally know many customers who can attest to this fact. However, I also know a bunch of people who have spent a lot of money on their gas grill eight to ten years after the date of purchase.
DCS gas grill replacement parts are available here and DCS gas grill user manuals are also available. If you find your grill needs some replacement parts, do yourself a favor and read the manual. Go through the parts lists and familiarize yourself with the proper cleaning techniques so you do not have to purchase replacement parts again.
This DCS replacement burner comes with the necessary mounting fixtures and air vent on the venturi. Our stainless steel replacement gas burner for DCS gas grills will fit any of the DCS models that used stainless steel burners. Older BGB30 models and the newer BGB36 and BGB48 all can use this replacement grill burner to replace DCS gas burners that are no longer functional.
Cast Iron replacement burner replaces DCS barbeque models over five years old when the transition to stainless steel burners was made. Replacement burner ships with air vent on venturi.
This cast iron replacement burner fits older model DCS grills before stainless steel grill burners were used. The smaller cast iron replacement burner fits several model of twenty-seven inch DCS grills that have been discontinued. Parts for these grills have become scarce but this burner fits these models perfectly.
This radiant tray replaces the DCS rod tray carrying 9 1/2 inch ceramic rods. This is a highly sought grill replacement part — we sell over thirty of these a month! The rods that radiate an even distribution of heat must be properly held in place. This replacement part includes the stainless arm that locks the rods in the tray allowing the entire unit to be removed easily for cleaning, maintenance and replacing broken rods. This tray fits the DCS grill models that use the 9 1/2 inch rods. The smaller rods use another part.
Ceramic rods in a DCS gas grill are an integral part of the power, precision and flavor that sets DCS BBQ above other barbeque grills. Instead of lava rocks or briquettes, the DCS ceramic rod radiants conduct heat for a perfect distribution. The added heat radiating off these conductors create the searing temperature that locks in flavor. Grease and drippings get vaporized when contact is made and the vapors fill the barbeque hood accentuating the amazing flavor of a DCS barbecue.
Before DCS gas grills started using ceramic rods to conduct an even distribution of heat lava rocks were used. These lava rock trays fit the older DCS model barbeque grills. Made of 18 gauge, 304 stainless steel they are made to last with a minimum of maintenance. Lava rocks and briquettes in a gas grill should be replaced twice a year to avoid grease build up to dangerous levels. When the lava rocks or briquettes are replaced, remove the stainless tray and brush it clean for a longer lifespan.
I cannot place every single DCS gas grill replacement parts available on one page. Visit the internet site for DCS grill parts to find all the parts for your DCS gas grill. If the replacement part you need is not listed, please contact a grill repair technician and we will update the necessary page to include your DCS replacement part to repair your grill.

DCS is one of the best gas grills in the world and the rods allow the barbeque to become a grill with radiant heat localized at the grilling surface. I know after a few years, the rods do not look pretty but they are still doing their job conducting heat at the grilling surface. You only need to replace them if they are broken so badly they will not stay in the tray where they belong. The tray does need to be cleaned a few times a year to ensure it does not rust to pieces. Cleaning the tray and burners is much easier than it is with a conduction-style grill that uses lava rocks or briquettes because the rods are locked in place. Simply lift the whole tray with the rods out of the grill, spray it with somple green or a similar de-greaser, lightly brush the grease away, rinse and replace. Rods are available if you need them at:
