Replacement Control Valves For Alfresco Grill Models
Control valves are not parts that should have to be replaced. If you need to replace control valves in your barbecue grill it is because something is wrong. Usually what is wrong is a burner has been installed crooked or there is a gas leak somewhere and the heat is being directed at the valve. Alfresco control valves clamp to the manifold with a washer that compresses between the valve intake and the manifold pipe. The valve piulls gas from the manifold that is attached to the gas line. The valve has an orifice screwed into the tip and the hole drilled in the orifice controls the amount of gas that flows into the burner as the valve is adjusted between high and low. Infrared valves in an Alfresco have a threaded end instead of an orifice and a corrugated stainless gas line attaches the valve to the burner venturi pipe. |

The valve stem of the Alfresco control has a tiny set screw that can be reached with a very small and very long flat head screw driver. This can be adjusted to change the radial movement of the valve. |

The schematic is an exploded view of all the replacement parts showing the parts of the grill as small as valves and orifices and as large as the burners and structure of the grill.
