The Broilking monarch barbecue grill still uses the single burner with dual control valves. The Monarch burner is like many of those above commonly refered to as butterfly burners, figure eight burners, infinity burners and "B" burners because of the shaoe of the BBQ grill burner. This is the burner design BroilKing has been manufacturing for decades.
