This is the U shaped burner below the Capital radiant as they mount inside the barbecue. With the longer end of the venturi tube extending into the control panel the ports on the burner are below the radiant so heat is affected by the stainless heat plates.
Radiants viewed from the bottom show the ridge running along both sides of the heat plate on both sizes of radiant shield.
