El Patio Replacement Cooking Grates.
Replacement cooking grates generally need to have the correct depth to fit into the top of the el Patio barbecue fire box. The depth can only be different by approximately one-quarter inch in either dorection but if the depth is able to fit into the grill the width matters less. If the width is a little short el Patio barbecue grates will still hold the food for grilling where it belongs. Longer grids can alsways be trimmed. Measure your el Patio barbecue at the top to see what is the smallest and the largest depth that can fit to choose the correct cooking grates.

Search grill parts by manufacturer above. el Patio barbecue grilling grates are coated with a layer chrome protection. The chrome is made to be attractive but its true use is to seal around the steel wire rod cooking grates. This steel will oxidize and the grids will fall apart as the rust becomes worse. Be careful with the chrome layer that protects our cooking gartes. Use the heat from the barbecue to clean excess grease and drippings from the grids and use a strong degreaser for persistant grease. Try not to use a scraper or abrasive wore brushes for cleaning as these can scratch through the protective surface and cause the metal grids to corrode.

The adjustable grilling grates are protected by a porcelain enamel that coats the steel grids.
