Summer Kitchen Grill Island Design.
You Can't built and Outdoor Summer Kitchen from Wood!
I worked with this client for six months (!) tweaking and redesigning to come up with exactly what they wanted. The original design was a double grill island that dominated one entire side of the backyard. This outdoor kitchen design was sifficult to describe and develop because there are so few designs like this one. The gap on the bottom that makes the island appear to have feet, the structural foam wood plank design and the LP tank access are all original designs fdeveloped for this built in BBQ grill island.

| This built in BBQ grill is thirty six inches wide. The built in Infinity gas grills had three burner sections of grill and an infrared rotisserie burner. One of the grilling sections is also an infrared sear zone for fast heat. The counter top is two centimeter Red Dragon granite. The body of the grill island appears to be built of wood. The structure of this outdoor kitchen is galvanized steel and concrete. Outdoor structural foam was treated and painted to give the appearance of wood planks. Two stainless steel access doors are on the back of the grill island for storage and propane tank access. |
