This is probably the most common igniter electrode design and has been used in just about every BBQ grill brand throughout time. This is a very popular electrode spark design used in the ignition assembly of many barbeque grills.

Kenmore replacement gas bbq grill ignitor electrode with collector box bracket and wire. Replace the electrode to repair the barbecue grill ignition. Collector box is tooled for installation with a lip on two sides. One end is bent-in towards the electrode to allow the gap to be adjusted for better sparking. The electrode wire is approximately 12 inches long with a female spade connector designed to plug into the barbecue module.
