Three Level Support For Viking BBQ Warming Rack Grate.
Viking gas barbecues have always added a lot of interesting features to their grill models. Today igniters have become better with additional heat shields protecting the control valves and the infrared burner in a Viking is one of the only infrared burners with a stainless mesh top. In the older days the Viking gas grills had a lot of defects and problems but the triple tier support for the warming rack was not one of them. This has been a feature of Viking BBQ grills for about a decade. The triple level warming grid support attaches to the grill inside the hood and allows the warming rack to be mounted in the Viking at a lower or higher level.

Fits All Models.Viking gas barbecue grills have evolved throught the years to become a much better appliance than where they began. This particular feature is one that has been installed in Viking gas grills for over ten years. The adjustable warming rack grate is not a new feature to Viking gas grill models. The warming racks are capable of moving up and down on a support bracket that has three tiers. The warming rack can be set level at three different heights to allow better clearance while barbecuing or to adjust the affect of the heat of the grill. In the image here is a three-tier warming rack support in a Viking gas grill that is approximately 8 years old. This grill is about 20 yards from Florida's ocean. The warming rack support is rusting and corroding but it is still quite string and is still able to support the warming rack. The support bolts right to the side of the grill head inside the fire box and above the grilling grates. |

Note this Viking gas grill is rusting to pieces. This is an older model before a lot of the Viking improvements of the past 6 and 7 years. Under the infrared rotisserie burner we can see large chunks of the metal wall falling apart.
Fortunately the warming rack supports are still in good shape. The warming rach grates do not tend to last as long as the triple tier supports because the support is on the side of the barbecue away from greases and heat.
